I would like to start off by congratulating our athletes that participated on Sunday. Every one of them set new personal records (PR) and
Mychael &
Cruz set new club records.
Mychael Vernon (age 5) broke the club record, which she set last summer, in the 100M. The old record was 22.3 seconds and the new record is 20.30 seconds (dropping a full 2 seconds). She also set new club record in the 800M with a time of 4:53.00.
Cruz Vernon (age 5) set a PR in the 100M with a time of 21.30, dropping more than 4 seconds off of his previous best 25.50. He also set a new club record in the 800m with a time of3:53.00.
Isaiah Kamara (age 5) gets big kudos for his efforts that day. He ran a 27.70 in the 100M and then ran the race of his life (non-stop) in the 800M. He ran very well and posted a time of 6:34.60.
